Dear God...

Mya has always been drawn to the act of prayer. Before she could talk she was always thrilled to clap her hands in "prayer position", smile up and me, and hang on my every word. Soon she started exclaiming, "AMEN!"

Then her prayers progressed into requests to "Dear God, keep Wobby safe." "Dear God, thank you for Ninny (Lilly)." She also proclaimed her love for her birth mommy, one that always melts our hearts.

Now she loves for everyone around the table to hold hands and she leads us in a prayer. These have been some of the latest prayer requests:

"Dear God, thank you for binkies and this food, AAAAAmen. Let's eat!"

"Dear God, thank you for cheerios, for family, and love, AAAAAmen!. Let's eat!"
